Southern Transport’s waste division provides rubbish and recycling Southland-wide with a variety of bins ranging from wheelie bins to jumbo bins with walk-in access. Complementing these activities is a wheelie bin recycling run in Myross Bush and an everyday green waste service in the Invercargill region. We also offer a green waste service for Otatara and Winton.

Southern Skips / Clearaway Skips
Front Load Skip Bins
Southern Transport service the wider Southland Community, all the way from Bluff to Te Anau.
Our front load mini & maxi bins are great for long term hire. There are three sizes available: 1.5m³, 2m³ and 3m³, equipped with two lids to ensure rubbish is contained and prevents unwanted pests. Some other special features include a locking bar and wheels. These can be added upon request.

Jumbo open top skip bins
Between Southern Transport and Clearaway Skips, we have a variety of sizes available for open top skips for long-term and short-term hire. Starting at the smallest size 3.5m3 and our biggest which is 8m3.
Green waste, to Mixed household rubbish and Clean fill, these skips can almost take it all! On request, there are also walk-in skips available with doors to make the job just that little bit easier.

Wheelie bin service

No Problem we can supply a 240L wheelie bin to your home, for either roadside or on property collection. Ring us Monday to Friday or leave a message when you are ready for it to be emptied. - We do rural!
For all you farmers in rural Southland, this one is for you. We offer a weekly, fortnightly, and monthly wheelie bin collection service. We will supply a 240L wheelie bin for roadside and property collection.

We offer a recycling service exclusive to those in Myross Bush. This is a fortnightly service only with a 240L wheelie bin supplied by us. We take all recycling including tins, plastic and glass.

Commercial buildings, retailers, and offices in the Invercargill City Centre, we can be the solution to your problem. We offer a five-day 240L, 660L and 1100L wheelie bin collection service.
